Ive also used a diesel kubota side by side that was pretty quiet.  Dang thing was nice to ! If I had the money and was looking for an atv for hunting it would dang sure be a side by side.

I beat the he11 outta my honda and it wont quit.  We have a lot of water in south florida and all my buddies with belt drives get stuck cause the belt slips.  Dont have that issue with a drive shaft. lol

Is that the side by side where the back seats fold down?

I bought a suzuki  king quad  750 this year and I really like it. I've always had Hondas, and still have a old honda 300, but the suzuki 750 has enough power for anything.

Bombardier makes the best quad, but it's probably also the most expensive, Yamaha copied their suspension style with the grizzly, which is a really great bike, much harder to flip over if you know how to lean well than many of the other quads, more recently honda has adopted that same suspension style and honda is cheaper and we all know if you just change the oil regularly their engines last forever, I would suggest using a higher octane fuel, ethanol free is best if they have that in your state. As far as a sxs I have a Kawasaki teryx, it's really good for steeper terain, when its in low gear you won't slide down even the steepest hill, even when you're fully loaded down with dogs and hogs. For flat land the Polaris with the bigger bed would be fine

I bought a Honda 300 Four Trax in 1997 and am still using it. Wouldn't even consider buying anything but a Honda.

I talked to a goose guide down on the coast when I was down there hunting with him. All he had was Hondas and I asked him about them. He said that they were the only thing that would stand up in the salt marsh.

I bought a Honda Rancher brand new in 2006. Had over 5,000 hog hunting miles on it... sold it last year and it still ran like new.

I had a 2011 Honda Rancher 420 with absolutely no problems but was just lacking some power for the weight I carried so I really wanted another Honda but the Rincon didn't offer the power steering and I drove a Yamaha Grizzly with one and was sold.  However the Grizzly has had a few minor issues and I have only hunted it one year but now I put 230 hrs and 1400 miles on it in the first year and it is all hog hunting and I am pretty rough on a machine.  Really wished I would have gone with the Honda I believe.
