It's fixin to get interesting in Central Orygun. The Feds have locked it down and if you are in there you are going to be starved out or arrested when you leave. If you resist arrest you will be shot. These are the facts as they stand. Whether you believe in their cause and I have some sympathies for the original father and son as it was a dang prosecutor who used terrorist charges on them for burning weeds. The outsiders that came in to make it their cause are going to get a harsh lesson in dealing with the feds. I'm not saying the outsiders are wrong but they rubbed the feds noses in it but relabeling trucks from the refuge and using them and going thru all the files and archives has fired up a lot of folks. Anyone there now will face federal charges. Their are a lot of different agendas amongst the occupiers but it is not going to end well for them.

What post yall talking about
it was taken down sometime last week, or the weekend before. it was talk bout how this ordeal began up here and had several links to it talking bout the hammond ranch and neighboring ranches being there before ole' teddy r set aside "X" amount of acres for the wildlife reservation back in the early 1900s and how they had to see out one by one bc the feds did this or that, forcing them to sell off their cattle, then their land, then land got absorbed into the blm land. it also discussed the bundy ranch a bit and about forest fires and how the hammond's set several back fires at several different times on their land, and one got out onto blm land, which at that time, wasn't a big deal bc the forest fire that was started by a lightning strike had burned up to the back burn they had set and so on, then some yrs laters, the blm again wanted their and, they chose not move off and the feds charged the hammond's with 2 counts of arson and they served some time in jail, which was what they were sentenced to, then some big wig fed judge decided the sentence wasn't stiff enough and told them they had to return back to jail to serve even more time and that is when the bundy's and some of the "militia" leaders from the bundy stand off went to the hammond ranch area and started a stand off again. |

WoW, pm me or email your address. i brought up that scope. depending what we have going on at work this wkend, ill run it up to you sat or sun or whatever day is convenient for you.
but back to the op, hopefully they don't back down to feds and it goes which ever way it goes for them and the possible ignition of the results of it. i do agree with the majority of what going on down there, but i DONT agree with them doing as you said, defacing the vehicles and rifling through the files and such. but they are fed up with the feds using bullying and terroristic tactics to get what they want from the citizens of this country and so are a lot of folks, just some don't or won't vocalize it in fear of retribution. if they have that kind of fear, then they are on the wrong side of things or sitting on the fence line wondering which way to jump. i figure if it does ignite the new spark, then it will game on.
do you do any yote hunting in the oregon area? if so, where would be a god place to go for that? i brought a couple fire sticks that need to be sighted in and got a bunch of ammo i need to expend and throat size the casings for reloading for my chamber.

According to some internet folks it was an ambush, over 200 shots fired into a couple vehicles and killed Lavoy finicum much of what they are standing for is a BLM land grab, they are pressuring ranchers with mineral rich land to sell and then they are selling the mineral leases to foreign corporations. when the ranchers dont want to sell they harass them until they go broke or give up, etc. There are many ranchers in this struggle not just the bundys, hammons, and Lavoy finicum. To fight back ranchers are attempting to use the constitution, which says the federal government cannot own more than 10% of the land in our republic, they currently own around 25%. I watched the video from the airplane on the shooting and it appears to me that Lavoy wanted to go around the roadblock and the snow sucked him in and stalled him. He then got out and tried to run for the woods but there was an LEO stationed in the woods and the Lavoy turned and put his hands up. The video was from pretty far out so I couldn't see if he reached for his pocket like the LEO's say but it appears to me that he was shot in the back from the LEO in the woods. I wish I knew which danged sources that were believable, I would like to trust law enforcement but they have an agenda. I would like believe the protesters but they have an agenda also. I would like to believe in a balanced media but the days of Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite are gone.

just saw the local news they showed clive bundy and said he ordered the ones remaining to stay and keep up the protest , but didn't let you HEAR a damn word he spoke .
did ya'll know a couple of years ago obama by ex. decision signed into law indefinite detainment ? this means an american citizen can be jailed indefinately without due process or a jury trial .

and the federal judicial system says its ok for that? i guess the constitution has really been thrown down the chitter for real. but there is very little chumpy chimpo and his wife chunky chimpette do that doesn't comply with the constitution. i just really can't fathom that the justice system can and does deny american citizens the rights of due process.

just saw on the news the last ones surrendered . they also arrested clive bundy as he got off a plane in portland oregon on charges he was supposedly cleared of years ago . anybody know anything different ?

yess !!! if he wasn't cleared why did they wait until now to arrest him ? he wasn't in hiding , he was at home taking care of his cattle . why did they wait several years to indite the hammonds on the backfires they set to save their home and pasture ? why did they let them out of prison and then drag them back in after an extended period ? why is it that the american public is not enraged about the whole ordeal ? is it because they are scared of the givernment ? is it because they are brainwashed to beleive that hard working conservative patriotic rural whites are bad people  ? i'll garandamtee you if it it had been ANY other group the gov would have handled it differently ! |

Agree with that 100%, but to add to it, those who do or might agree with whats going on are affraid they will be labeled as the that bad person or being put on them "watchlists". They are also just plain scared to stand up against cooruption. Either they are for or against tyranny, there is no place to straddle the fence and pick the winning side after the fact. |
