Old dog man from the Weimar Texas area. Look up Texas Mason Catahoulas. He's a good honest man and he keeps good dogs. Now as for the dogs he sells people have mixed opinions but he's made a name for himself as a successful breeder of solid consistent working Catahoulas and he's full of knowledge. Getting up there in age but still goes hunting every Wednesday. He's a lifetime dog man and I have no problem paying good money for a pup from him. Just a good man

As most people on here have said Mr. Mason breeds catahoulas. He's gonna as far as Australia from what I've heard to look for new lines of hog dogs. He as always been fair to Slim and I and he actually sold me a cat/dogo that is already catching straight ear at three months old on piglets. I have nothing but good to say about the man

Yes sir it is. He's got some dogos that are good. I believe he has a big ridgeback that's a nice dog. Maybe a yella dog or 2. If it'll hunt like he likes I imagine he won't discriminate.

He'll let you use his 10 acre training pen on whatever size hog you want I believe. Just gotta pay a sack of corn or dog food per dog per training session. He's been hunting for over 25+ years and has a lot of knowledge that is worth way more than a 50 lb sack of corn in my opinion.

He is a great guy, ive spoken to him in the past more than once. He also is a strong supporter of working dogs and fights for us in Austin when he can.

He's a tuff old man. I've hunted with him several times. He is the real deal.  He knows alot. Seen it all and if I remember correctly he is on record of catching the largest feral hog in Texas with dogs!!

Mr Mason is Mason catahoulas. He works as hard as any "Old Man" I've ever seen. Can't say I'd say he's old bc I know he can outlast me even being 70+! (I'm 32)  He's the most honest man in the hog dog business u'll ever meet. He has trained my last few pups and I bought a dogo from him and all did exactly what he told me they would do when I put them in the woods. He raises Catdos along with Catahoulas, and has a partner over in Louisiana who raises curs.  He has a big wooded pen that's open to train for a small rate.(I think by appointment). Hunts Monday thru Friday and trains dogs after that. "Who is Mr Mason?" Mr. Mason is one of the best dog handlers in the South, and is a man that is 100% honest and stands behind his word, and last of all he works his tail off year round doing what he loves!! This is all my opinion but u can take it to the bank that I'm not the only that feels this way about the "Old Man" Mr. Mason!! Can't thank him enough for he's done to my team of dogs!!

There's also Sam mason from Louisiana, he no longer breeds dogs and is probably best known for his old buster dog, just about all of my dogs are line bred around Buster.
