Hey Thomas. Round about how much you got in lumber sitting right there. My current dog situation isn't on par with what it should be so I'm bringing them to my house. It's gonna be T-post and chains for a little but kennels will be built with the quickness and done nicely

how tall with it be from the deck to where you want the wire to stop? so far its looking good. you gonna poke a barrel out the bucket give them more room?

im fixin to put down some crushed concrete, 70'x12' and build some 10'x10'x6' or 5'x10'x6' panels and bolt them together. gonna use either 1.5" or 2" square tubing and center drill the tubing every 2" on the horizontal runs and 4" on the vertical runs and use either 9ga brace wire or 12.5ga high tensile wire, pull the wire through each hole, tack the wire and pull the chit out of stand weld the other end and weave the vertical through the horizontal strands or vise versa. it would probably be cheaper to buy kennels, but since i have to pay sales tax on canine kennels, i figure screw it, i can build what i want, how i want and have the satisfaction that i built it instead of mass produce junk made with chinese steel. i will price the square tubing. i will need 10 24' sticks of tubing per kennel and with the extra feet left over from the 10' runs, weld them together for stiffener runs at the 5' mark per panel. I'm gonna build the kennels in an L shape with triangle shaped feed/storage room with a single wide door in the front and a double door in the back to load dog and chicken feed with my tractor, plus put my hunting gear in it. i figure i will have a couple 1000 between the metal and wire for the kennels and the r panel roofing. i will eventually, if not before I'm finish, a septic system where i can shovel the poo into a gutter and wash it down to a holding tank and pump it out into my garden spot after growing season is done.

It stands 6' with a 2" drop in the back. The deck is 2 feet off the floor and im gonna use 4' panels. Im gonna put a barrel in it raised off the ground. Its in the coner of my yard and im limited to the amount of space i have.

that is a nice set up you got there. i thought you were gonna put elevated barrels for them? maybe build a platform for that dog house to sit on would give them more floor room. i built a platform in one of my kennels for a dog house just like that to sit on, but ended up having to move the kennels and with the wt of the platform when i put it up and had to take it down and how much of a pain it was to take it down by myself, i said screw it and didn't put it back in, but i built it to where the 2x4s sat on the kennel wire in 3 places and had 2x6s for a platform with a 2x4 and 2x6 ramp for the pups to walk up to get into the house. but again, after having to take it out to move the kennel, i wasn't putting it back up. i built in place and didn't expect to have to move it, so this next round, I'm gonna do a heck of a lot simpler and easier to move around. trial and error. its the only way to learn unless we seek out other to do everything for us and we reap the benefits from it.
again, nice set up

Thanks charles yea i wanted barrels but couldnt find any cheap ones so i decided just to get these from tractor supply it gives me the abelity to move them in and out with ease. An if i decided to put a bigger dog in them i could and maybe elevate them but for my little dogs its ok.

Thanks again
