I'm guilty of never getting many dog pics while on hunts. Gonna try to start taking some... here's a few.

Three young brindle dogs that are coming on strong and showing a lot of promise. Hunter, Niko and Tiger... Niko belongs to UNDERDOG.

Tweety and Hunter

Clifford in the new, four layer kevlar, Guardian Titan Shorty that I'm field testing.

I like the way it's put together and fits. I was worried about the chin flap being in the way and hindering mobility, but it seems to be just fine. It's heavier than my old vest, but that's expected with all the extra kevlar.

The real test will be after catching a few toothy hogs and seeing how it holds up... which I don't have any doubts on. My old vest is a short, single layer kevlar I had Krystal custom make for me a couple years back... still without any puntures.

They all look good Mike,I like the 3 brindles pic on the buggie front..they are all three real good lookin dogs.

When you showed me that vest before I put my hands on it I wonderd about that chin flap but when you handed it to me it semmed like it would be ok.It looks good on him and seems to fit well. I like that first pic of Clifford.I would like to try it on Shiner to see how it would it him to determine the size I would need for him.

Mike are you using a collar underneath that chin flap or just the flap only?  Looks like a tusk could easily slip underneath that flap.  I'd like to buy one, but that is my only reserve.

Thanks everyone!

No, I'm not using cut collar underneath it. Just his regular collar and a tracking collar. It's kind of a bad picture because the chain is pulling the chin flap and collar part down and back. I'll have to get some better pics so you can see the coverage. It covers everything a regular cut collar would... plus it's attached to the vest so a tusk can't get in between the two.

Take a look at Silverton Boar Dog's post and you can see how well the coverage is...http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=9336.0
