So we went hunting yesterday midday and got skunked bout I found a rutting spot look like a backhoe been digging in the mans corn fields. Sat there thinking about it at house and decided to run them again loaded up and headed over about 9 o'clock. Road hunted them down near the river started about 11. Kate rolled out on Garmin about 700 yards making a big wide circle and then look down she's at 955 spooks with her treed. Drive up to 400 or so as close as we can get by rd and they are bayed up Spooks got a beautiful ringing chop but I rarely get to hear it if it's under 125-150 lbs he's caught. But he's up there banging away so I know it's a good hog.get within 50 yards send the bulldog and all hell breaks loose. Kate and spook at 100,200,700,900, .68 miles can't get the bulldog to turn back he went with them. He's caught they are bayed. Send my buddy to get truck to go to nearest rd to bay I hoof it .68 miles in some rough ass country I might add 1:45 time I get to them spooks caught noose is caught been close to an hour I stick him and start tying dogs back and look around spooks gone. Check Garmin he's 50 yards away treed. I walk over and he's cut up pretty bad on the head and number 2 his guts out looks like(nerves?) cut kits at truck check all of the others and then go to call my partner but no cell phone left it in the truck! Walk out with a bulldog and two curs with one leash another 900 yards to rd. Doctor dogs up and go back to get hog he has one missing cutter, one nut and one broken cutter all fresh! 3:30 we put him in the truck 455 yard drag... Dogs looking a lot better today just a lil worse for the wear.

Good hog! It's a bad feeling when the bulldog catches that far out... hope your dogs get healed up.

It most certainly is a pretty helpless feeling. Thanks
