I couldn't get off being on call for two hospitals to be able to go to the big ranch with Mike. So I settled on the ole river bottom. After two dry runs my buddy and his son finally got to catch one with us. I cast the dogs a few times and nothing, third time they left out with a purpose and sure nuff bayed up at .86. Took us a good 30 min to get there, real glad Kevin had his new ranger or we would have had to walk the last 8-900 yards. Parked within 75 yds and sent the bulldogs and caught this little sow. My daughter finally got to stick her first one. The dogs did good, and the young girl pup from Mike really turned it on good. My daughter, really proud dad. Yes the black female is from Mike. She is out of Hunter, I had hunters bro for a good few years but lost him to a hog a coulpe years back. The brindle dog is out of obama, the black gyps mom is out of obama and tweety. thanks y'all. |

Great job getting the kids involved. All my daughters hunted with me from the time they were 5, until they got every Dad's nightmare. (Boy on the brain disease) Really good looking dogs.

That's a fun day there. we used to have young kids go with all the time when I bear hunted. Have never had any with on a hog hunt.
