Trey's Willy dog in the pic winded the hog and bayed him in the brush. As soon as two of Mike's and two of Travis's dogs got there, he made the mistake of breaking out across a pasture... they put the "whoa" on him pretty quick haha!

They're cur/running hound crosses.

I was going to actually to start a thread asking if anybody on here ever runs any running hounds like July's, Goodmans, and Triggs on hogs and how they worked for them. I assume you must like them or you would not have them, how would you compare them to your Cats? Just curious.

The running hound x curs are Travis dogs . I'm not sure he gets on here anymore he stays busy building hot rods .

I can tell you one thing about his dogs ..  they've put him
And his friends on lots of hogs !!

Yes sir ! I like that open country a lot. It really lets you see the dogs work ! i got to watch every bit of that boar hog unfolded . the moment Trey's Willy dog was jumping around the brush like a deer winding  him , to him busting out the bushes and  trying to make a break for it across the pasture .. to the dogs shutting it down by spinning his ass around and around which got him to bay,  to caught hog .
Really cool

Thanks y'all for letting me tag along !

Take care

Logan-99 that's Travis's Newt dog .. With white chest
The one behind It is Ann
The one laying down by the boar head is Hobo

His post history might have who the sire and damm is on all these dogs .. I wanna say a dog named Drifter their buddy Jp ( Lionboarhunter ) has .. For the sire
I believe they all go back to dogs off his yard ..
