Found these older pics on my computer that i didnt realize i had, figured id share. These are pics of a dog thats pretty special to me. A pup out of my old smoke dog i lost last year. This youngster has sure stepped it up, acts more like his daddy every hunt. He aint the best but he has put me in more than enough hogs this season to keep me happy. Pretty proud of him.

First hog he ever saw in the big woods @ 6mths old

He is next to the bulldog. His son is to the right of him and his littermate brother is on the far right.

Him on the right his son on the left

His most recent find

Didnt post for any particular reason. Just thought id share. Happy huntin folks

Wayoutwest, what can I say Im a sucker for a yella dog if you haven't noticed.   Grin

A good friend and hunting partner of mine had the parents to that yella bulldog and bred em. Her momma was the best/easiest bulldog I've ever hunted behind. He could turn her loose from the buggy and when he got to the hog he could literally tap her on the head and tell her to get off and she would release the hog, step back and sit down, when we got ready to go back to the buggy he would tell her to get to the wheeler and off she went. damndest thing I ever saw. He is a pipeline welder and from the day he got her he brought her with him on the road, she would lay down next to him while he welded all day long, they had a bond that few men will ever have with a dog, it was a pleasure to hunt behind her. This pup isn't on that level but she minds extremely well and is easy all around.................plus it doesnt hurt that she matches the curr dogs  Grin Grin Grin

I don't know about other breeds so much but when you get a bond with a bulldog it's pretty special.
