Do you just rub them down with it? I use it to keep the mosquito larvae and the like out of my water buckets and horse tanks works good for that.

I've been using it regular for about the past 6 months, it hasn't been that hot but so far no larva, no algae. Hasn't really helped my bulldogs skin like I hoped it would but I'm not giving up on it yet. Seems like the fleas don't like it, don't think it bothers the ticks tho.

Bignasty  you are correct on that.  Apple Cider Vinegar has lots of benifits to it but to reap these benifits you need to get the ACV that contains the mother as its called. The mother is found in the unfiltered ACV you are speaking of but it's the mother in the ACV which is the key to the benifits.  Braggs is the brand I use.  I use it in chicken water buckets a lot.
I put iodine in my dogs water usually instead of ACV.   I like it's health benifits a lot more than I do ACV.      Both are much better than nothing at all.

How much iodine do you use per gallon, how often and what brand? Do you use it to kill bacteria and fungus or algae too?
