Well, damn near lost the few dogs I have left this morning. Woke up to a tornado warning and I guess we got it. Came down right behind the house and tore a path about 50 yards wide from where my dogs are and off thru the woods. I counted 15 big oaks down, not sure what the back of the property looks like. Two trees came down on top of two of my dog houses and another dropped right beside one. Luckily the branches on the two kept the tree from crushing the dogs.

HOLY CHIT! Glad all your Dogs came out ok and everything else for that matter............... we had a limb fall and bust out our bedroom window this morning.......I got a call at work from my other 1/2 freakin out, thankfully she wasn't hurt and it didn't do any real damage other than to the window itself. Hate that ya'll gotta deal with that but it looks like ya'll got real lucky, could have been MUCH worse.

Mike if you have them on chains by the fallen trees, you better move them. I had the same thing happen during katrina. Trees down everywhere in the dog yard. Dogs were not hit by any trees but one of my gyps ran up a tree & jumped off the other end and hung herself.
Glad nobody was hurt.

Had the same thing happen here last night, but was just straight winds 80-85 mph, no harm done and now have got everything cut out of the dogs way. Didn't crush any dog houses and didn't even scratch a dog. I'm thankful
