i got a red cur that has not been eating maybe a week or two he might eat alittle every now and then
he lost about 10 lbs looks bad and now he got the runs but i also started seeing blood in stool he acts like hes not sick but something is wrong i gave him worm med about a week ago thinking about worming again should i . also wonder if he might have parvo i gave all dogs a new seven in one and bleaching the yard and kennel he has been seperated from the others to take caution so i dont get the rest sick do you think he will make it hes about a year old sometimes he acts depressed he bays good just need some advice thanks guys/girls

i would try a different wormer for three days strait and see if that works, or run him to the vet its not that expensive for them to do a fecal exam to determin if it is hook worms or something else. worming him an extra time wont hurt him if your using safeguard, panicur, or another regular dog wormer.

with blood in the stool i would take min to the vet . there is a strain of parvo that came out about 6 months ago according to the vet i use it acts a little different . also do not let the dog start dehydrating

hey guys thanks for aDVICE I GOT HIM EATING AGAIN AND GAVE HIM LOTS OF PEDIALITE AND MORE WORMER HIS STOOL IS LOOKING NORMAL AGAIN JUST GOT TO GET THE WEIGHT BACK ON HIM AND TRY TO SAVE ALL MY OTHERS I DONT WANT THEM TO GET SICK I GOT A FREIND WHO MIXED UP SOME IVOMEC FOR ME AND WE GAVE IT TO THEM AND HE WENT TO EATING AND DRINKING SO MUST HAVE BEEN BAD CASE OF HOOK WORMS WHO KNOWS IF A VET WAS A LITTLE CHEAPER I WOULD HAVE TAKEN HIM OR IF THE CONDITIONS GOT WORSE I WOULD HAVE ALSO THANKS AGAIN

Had a dog that did the same thing here a while back,took her to the vet,and she had some kind of staph infection,gave her a 10 day run of meds and now she is better than new,
