Plott dogs. Have to be the trashiest dogs out there. If it leaves a track, they want to run it. Deer, armadillo, nutria, coon, coyotes & the list goes on. I have even had them trail turkey's up.

X2 on the turkeys except it was a red tick.

Trashiest dog I had was a "piney woods cur" that I raised from a pup when I was 17, lets just say I was able to really see a dog run ALOT of game and do it with style, 1st two years I hunted him there ain't a bit of telling how many encounters he had with  a limb, when he started straightening out he would alway trash on a deer at the beginning of the hunt, take his lick and would keep you in hogs the rest of the day, he turned out to be a fine dog later on and I was very blessed to own a dog of his caliber so early in, he really set the bar high and showed me what a dog that absolutely  loved to hunt and did what it took to catch the hog was all about. My old handle on here was Goose and there's a picture of me and him as my profile pic. I can't ever pull it up on tapatalk.

Ive got a jagd gyp thats killed five opossums in the last month in my yard. She has so much hunt in her its scary once she's got a scent or sights on something she is non stop. I cant wait for her to have these pups from my male. These little guys should be some hard hunting land sharks. Im a person that loves the hunt it could be anything an i get excited.

Them jagds are as game a dog as ive ever been around, got more drive in their stubby tails than most dogs got in their whole bodies. Love those little devils!

Dallas. That's the reason you got ole shorty. She was just too game for me and my lack of knowledge to get a handle on. Extremely glad you are enjoying her though and I'm excited about the pups bud

it in fact is very lively! Lmao my buddies 11 year old hadn't been hunted in a few months, kicked him out and he hunted his tail off, dry run, then he got bayed. My RCD went to him and they fought, ran him into the creek bed and snatched him up

The only plott I ever owned gave me the slobbering fits,,, it ticked me off so bad I swore I would never own another one...I watched this dog after being on hundreds of hogs in the woods run a rabbit .. Didn't make sense to me  LOL....I always told my son it was his fault cause it was his dog and it had a hard head like him...

I have a couple catahoula treeing walker crosses that will run a deer. They never have ran one more than a mile.

My catahoulas will about run anything that will run from em. They don't stick to anything but a hog though.

My main dog is a treeing walker. He will tree a squirrel or a coon occasionally but won't stay treed ( main reason I have him now).

I have a greyhound bloodhound cross that will smoke a coyote given the chance. She is pig crazy but will line a coyote out for miles.

I like trashy dogs. They have hunt that can't be taught. If you can ever get them lined out or if you can handle that chase of the first thing that moves. Well you have dogs that will get the job done. As far as trashiest breed heck I have seen them in lots of colors. In my yard you just close your eyes and point.
