bored at work so figure id update on ole pancho. He is all I have left that will go hunting. Lost every other grown dog I had in the last month. This picture is from about 2 months ago but ole pancho at 8 months struck ran and bayed this good sow all by himself. Dogs were all out anywhere from 3 to 800, thought I heard a bark so cut the wheeler off, and nothing, started rolling again and all the dogs come back but pancho. Didn't really notice until about 10 minutes later I think "where's that damn pup of mine" look on the Garmin and shows him blowing up at about 600 ahead of us, and judging by Garmin he ran her about a .7mi . Shut wheelers off, let dogs hear him. They go and we got her caught. Really can't speak on his range much, have yet to turn him out by himself but he stays busy, and last weekend we hunted and I watched him strike a track in front of an 8 year old and a 4 year old. He took it 800 and farted around for a good while, started looping hard and was waiting for him to start talking but it never happened and he brought it on back.
Gonna turn him loose solo Saturday morning early and see just what he wants to do.
