Spent the day fishing around Catalina Island yesterday with my youngest son. I got lucky and came home with a yellowtail (Hamachi) about 15 lbs and a white sea bass that went about 40 lbs.

Both of them are some of the best out here to eat. If you go to sushi resturants and order hamachi, the yellowtail in the pic is why you'll get. The White Sea bass has thick white fillets that can be cooked any way you like, and you can't hardly mess it up.
