Finally(for you boarninja)

First off I wanna say thanks to Alan(Boarninja), we have been out together on 3 different occasions and 3 different properties and found hogs but just couldn't get them stopped. But even that being the case it was still a blast and you can't ask for better company. The last outing was saturday night and this was the icing on the cake, got a few dogs cut including my CD Red. They will all be ok its just the streak of luck has a way of settin your mood . Well an impulse decision and me and my brother loaded up lastnight and went to my spot close by. We brought young and old. Of the old Lilly, Lacie, Reeses, young were Daisy, and my new bmc Baylee and of course the cd's Red and China. Well only about 15 minutes into it and Lilly was out of sight and I hadn't heard anything from her so I knew she was working something. Everybody else kept checking back in every 10 minutes or so but no sign of Lilly. I tracked her in the direction of a place where we had caught before and sure enough I could barely hear her bark over the rain and bugs. She was about 4 or 5 hundred yard off in a nasty spot on this place. We grabbed the cd's and headed for her, hoping it wouldn't break. After about 30-45 minutes we got within range to release the bulldogs and she kept baying through it all, by this time the rest of the dogs had made it there and oh' what a sound. So we released the bulldogs and just before they got there the bay dogs went ahead and caught. It was about a 90-95# sow, not a monster by any means but a bad streak breaker non-the-less. Sorry no pics still fighting the computer people.
So Alan(boarninja) I broke our streak lets go get em'.

Mike, I think your right.. But for me thats a good thing, I want her to last a long time..she bays good and tight just won't catch as much, but thats ok cause before I was having to dr. her after every hunt. And that reminds me she didn't catch til Reeses got there

Last few places we've been to are full of bad running hogs. I think I recall you saying you never saw hogs run so bad and far. Kinda neat to see um make those 2 mile loops with the Garmin. I sure like the challenge of the runners but when we are guiding and trying to produce pork for folks it can get a little frustrating to say the least.
Me and you have a score to settle on Docs place thats for sure!!! Run a boar for almost 5 hours only to leave for the house with cut dogs and empty trailers! Just sticks in my crawl.

I sure had fun hunting with ya bud but the highlight for me was in the swamp with Cherish. She went crotch deep at one point and dropped that 4 letter word in right in front of Nathan (a very religious man and author of two Christian books). I about lost it! I told my wife about it when I got home. We laughed so hard we were gagging!!!

Tell Cherish not to sweat it though. Im sure brother Nathan had to stifle a few 4 letter words himself in that hell hole of a swamp we got stuck in for a wile!!
I spoke to him just today. He said you and the wife were welcome on his place any time and it was a pleasure to hunt with ya Saturday night.

Oh you got it bud, and it will be my ol' "A" team tagging along, and of course Red and China. Hank and Lilly pretty much got my pack started, they are due for a hunt together. But like I was talkin to you about before I'd like to find Hank a good bay vest before we settle that particular score you know what I mean, just ask Ray, Meangirl, and Red!!!!!!

I forgot about the research on that bay vest I told you I would do. Maybe by the end of the weekend we will have found him one. I still havent talked to Wormy about it either.
