Well I have a pretty long drive to were I hunt so I usually get up around 245, but Momma kept me up late so when the alarm went off I turned it off and obviously went back to sleep because next time I looked up it was 4 something. Anyway I throwed the dogs in the truck and light out, got to the old man's house about 700, got to the woods and found some last night tracks that went thru a bunch of half knee deep water, well the old man said on the other side of the water is a narrow ridge laying in their bet that's were there bedded. By now it's around 830, put my to gyps down and they starT milling around, my Bailey gyp takes the front end of the track and my yellow gyp took the back end of the track. Well I haven't got to see it much but the yellow gyp took the back track to the bed and beat Bailey to the bay by about a minute. Well we take of on the ranger and get around close as we can, then walk in the rest of the way. He was back up to a big clay root baying good, the old man says it's a bar you want to kill it, I said may as well, so he stuck it and we loaded up headed to his house and dressed him out for fry meat. All of about 45 minutes from the time we put them down until they were bayed. Glad to because it was getting hot.
