Only posting this on here because I know there's some guys from my area, and guys who hunt with the ones from my area, that I personally don't know so this is my best hope for them to see it. Yesterday afternoon I walked out of the house at about 2:00 to go grab dogs. Walk back and find them dead. 3 dogs laying dead and my pit was missing. Though He could have slipped his collar. Something just didn't feel right, I knew it wasn't heat stroke so I loaded the 3 up and went to the vet for a necropsy, he looked at the insides of 2 of the 3 dogs, looked me in the eyes and told me my dogs had been poisoned with a large amount of rat bait. Lungs were full of blood and liver and intestines were bleeding. There's no way they picked it up while hunting cause none of them dogs were all on the ground at one place. Someone did this, and whether it was a neighbor, an individual I pissed off, or another dogger whose toes I stepped on I don't know. But people talk and that's why I'm posting this. Somebody robbed me of my hard work, pride and joy, being those dogs. So IF ANYONE, might have any information worth knowing, I ask that you either contact me or Schulenburg Police Department as I've filed a report with them. I'm offering $500 to anyone with information that leads to the prosecution of the sorry sob who did this. 5129889652 is my number, please if you hear anything let me or the PD know

Glad to hear pancho is ok but still sucks to hear about your other dogs. I haves couple puppies left out of a litters and have another litter on the way should be here end of this month. Both of these litters should make some good ones. The litter due end of this month is out of same male as pancho and a tator/tweety/Winchester gyp. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks guys for the kind words. It sure ain't no fun.... Took a week off from work to come tear some hogs ass up after being on the road for a month. And now I'm itching to go but there's no use cause all I got is a 10 month old pup who has struck a hog and my buddy has a gyp that's starting to come on... Went last night with a buddy and it was kind of depressing to not see my dogs out there milling around.

CRC, I really like Pancho and I've heard plenty good things about boomer, and that that gyp sounds like she's got some proven blood behind her. Let me know something for sure on that litter, might have to claim a female or 2

Wow I hate to hear this .. I've really enjoyed watching you post on here all your progress and work paying off . I would go to whatever local feed store y'all have and ask if anyone bought rat poison bragging about how it's intended for killing dogs. Dog killers usually brag to people about that stuff .. You ever get on a deer hunting forum they talk about it like it all the time.

My family had a line of coon hounds whipped out by a crazy neighbor that feed them all glass . It takes a sorry ass person to pull something as cowardly as that . I sure hope they have what's coming to them

I'm resilient, too damn hard headed, and I love dogs and hate hogs all too much to quit or give up. Chris I assure you my progress will continue, it will be a couple months before I'm back to catching hogs, and it's gonna cost a couple pretty pennies to recoup my losses. But I got a few good doggin buddies, my dad, and my self in my corner. Got a pair of young puppies  bred right, real stock minded that I'm waiting to grow up. And 1 that's 10 months old and is acting like he's gonna make a hell of a dog.  I'm gonna give it a little, do my due diligence to try and get to the bottom of this rough situation, and then start building a pack again.

I think the toughest thing about this is I'm really not all that worried about restitution or getting paid back. I just want to look whoever did it in the eye and ask them why? Ain't no mutt of mine ever bothered nothing but a pig and the occasional armadillo. My dad brought it up to me and it still is eating me alive and it's gonna for a while, because he was right. It takes a sick, twisted, unstable, no moral having piece of trash to bring themselves to be able to take a mans not 1 but 3 best friends from him.... It's scary because if they can just do that to a couple dogs I can't imagine what they could do to a child or someone around them.

not exactly the same thing. but some clown opened my piglet door and shot 1 of my ag pigs 2x, but he lived. then 10 days later someone around 12:-01:30 opened my main pen and my breeder boar was gone, my pet pig was walking down the county road and my neighbor ended up walker her back a 1/4 mile and put her back int he pen, and a blonde sow i was gonna breed over to my ag project and a littermate piglet to the one that got shot, were ran over. i know it tore the vehicle up, hell the sow was pushing 100-120# but nobody has stopped by to claim the damage. about a yr ago, some turd cut my pen fence. all 3 incidents were reported and all 3 times i told the deputies that if i catch them, they will have to haul them off wrapped in a body bag inside a meat wagon. all 3 times they said to let them handle it. well, i put a trail cam up and finally caught the same tck driving by real slow 2x on my cam within 3 days of each other, then while I'm waiting at the airport to go back to work fri, my son tells me that the same red dodge pulls into the driveway, but before he could get outside, the tck was backing out and left. also on the cam was a toy tundra but only caught the rear quarter fender. i told the wife to buy another cam and chain it to my trailer and set it for vid mode in hopes of catching a plate number of any vehicle that doesn't belong on my land. i can see pulling in and turning around, but using my entire circle drive to turn around is bullcrap. so between the purple paint on my fence line and the no trespassing sings put at each entry/exit point, there should be no reason anyone should be using my driveway, even to turn around. once they pass the property line, its trespassing and evidently criminal trespassing according to the state statute. so i will file on every single person who comes on my property without prior permission, especially if I'm gone or they have creeped past my land on more than one occasion. i did tell my son, which a 2 deputies told me i was within y rights to do, but i told to get my ar out of my tck, keep it by the door and if someone pulls in, to step out on the porch, show them the weapon and tell/motion for them to leave and if he feels threatened, to put them on the ground and call the cops afterwards.

back to the OP, sorry that happened to young  i hope you catch whoever did it. hunt them down, knee and elbow cap them and poison their family in front of them, all the while, them helpless to do anything about it.

I ain't back doored no one, never sold someone a dog or a pup claiming it was something it wasn't, and never went around talkin number 2 about people or their dogs.... I'm not quite sure how to take your comment, but this ain't something I've had coming or anything. This is simply a cowardly act carried out by a twisted individual for what reason I can't imagine. Only thing I can say I've done is hunt a place I was invited to come hunt by the land owner who led me to believe I was the only one who had permission to run it. Come to find out he's got some boys from Colombus and sealy area that run it as well. But none of them boys know me as far as I'm aware and I know for a fact they don't know where I keep my dogs
