Please list company name and model/type of vest.

I'm going to be making a decision on this soon and would love the input.

Thanks

My favorite is WildBoarUSA's Devastator vest. I have three of them that I've used for several years now and none have been cut thru so far... but, any vest can be cut thru. I like them because they're so lightweight... good for the hot months and won't weigh your dog down in the water.

I love all the hard core ones I had a dog killed one time and they called me to ask if it was the failure of the vest they were going to make sure it was settled some way if it was a failure that's all it took for me but it wasent the best falt I never had any of them cut through

Most vest will work some are designed better and or put together better. Most are the same material or comparable. The rubber meets the road on the fit. I have tryed most vest out there they all will take hits some are truly better but they are not a save all. No matter what vest it is it can and will be cut thru. You kinda just have to try a few out and figure which works best for you.  I like pnp hardcore and confederate but there are many more out there

Thanks for the feedback guys. This is helpful. One day science will catch up with hog dogging and the tusk proof vest will be available.

Until then , it's good to know there are still some really good options

That story about hardcore was amazing. Thanks for sharing that.

I like my southern style vest by hardcorehogdogs.com mine are all custom built to measurements for my dogs. Caught a lot of good hogs in em. Some they were caught way longer than I would like. I can't say a single bad word about them. I'm not one with lots of money to spend but I feel I got my money's worth with these vest.

The problem with a cut proof vest is how would you put then together if you can't get a needle to sew it then you would have to find a glue but hard for a glue to hold the hit of a pig or the dogs movement

I have seen a few died from the blunt force trauma and not be cut at all.

I own and have owned wild boar cut gear for years. Not saying they are the best because i havent owned other brands, never needed to as the wilboarusa gear works great for me and always has. I order everything through them, vests, cut collars, regular collars, leads etc etc. Good quality material and great customer service.

Wild Boar USA.  Devastator or Guardian.  I currently use the Guardian vest's and will never buy anything different.  It has ultimate protection and bulldogs can still run/move great while wearing the vest.  The folks at Wild Boar USA are top notch and constantly improving their products.  Great cut vest's and great people.  It's money well spent.
