I was reading another post from a guy who talked about all the things he does to support his hunting - but not actually hunting. His time is much different than mine because of the game he is hunting and the fact that he has a short season.
I know some guys spend an enormous amount of time running bait lines, checking traps, and setting out cameras. For the most part, I don't spend much time bating and I don't use cameras religiously. I have 9 dogs and it takes me about 30 minutes a night to feed and clean kennels. Maybe a little more time when I worm and some nights a little less time. So, besides actually hunting, I would say I spend about 3.5 hours a week on non-hunting activities.
Not counting the time you spend in the woods with dogs hunting, how much time do you spend on a weekly basis towards hunting?

I'm about the same as you... feeding, watering, worming and doctoring if needed.

We turn dog out twice a day and in the evening they have a big dog yard to go in, and I feed raw so it is about two hours a day

I will rotate my dogs in the house during summer months. With the 5 large ones I will clean and feed at least 30 min a day. At the beginning of the month it more due to heart guard. The one in the house will stay for a few days to keep manners in check but back outside after 2-3 days..

I dont scout for hogs but i do put out corn regularly, it is multipurpose though as i corn my deer stand areas. I also run a few cameras but they are also out for both the deer and the hogs. I spend 30 minutes to an hour a day messin with my dogs between feed/water/cleanin and messin with the pups.
