This week we are not hunting hogs with dogs, rather lions in the Navajo Reservation. I will be hunting with my Bride of 40 years with hounds that I raised and trained on dry ground. Unfortunately, there was a little too much snow for Deb and I making the "getting around" a little difficult. In my opinion, this is the best season of CARNIVORE that we have aired in our six seasons and this is my favorite show of the year. I hope that you will tune in if you get a chance. Adios, Gary

X2... seems your wife is a great shot as well...which reminds me of a story... When I married my wife I was going to make a deer hunter out of her...I had wanted a 22-250 real bad so I bought her that instead of a 243...that remington model 7400 classic is by far my favorite but that is her gun...I bought her the gun and had it bore scoped...took my wife and gun to the range...I sighted her gun and I was shooting a 1 inch group...with my great coaching she was shooting mainly a 3/4 inch group...training session was over pretty quick...she and the kids killed quite a few deer with it...and the grandkids have killed 4 or 5 with it before I made them move up to the 2506... I been recording all the carnivore shows and watch them when I have time...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Thanks Gents! Pwilson, I have seen these potlickers get after a deer before but thank goodness for Garmin/Tritronics because I am not sure that I could run them down any more. I am hunting a gyp that just turned a year old. Little dog with a ton of energy and quickness. Other morning as it was just breaking daylight, I saw her coming with something really big in her mouth, so I am thinking rotten and stinky. She runs up to my door as I am roading and she has a half grown turkey in her mouth. I scolded her and she put it down but I am not sure if it survived. Adios, Gary
