This is for a limited time and by appointment only. It is 20 acres with all different types of terrain, it is not a bay pen. It's perfect for young dogs that just need some exposure to push them forward and tap into their potential. The price is $10 per dog per session, groups are welcome, you can get a lot of dogs worked in a half day session. Give me a call for more details or to book a session for your dogs. The ranch is off Hwy 7 in Pollok TX, which is 15 minute's from Lufkin and 20 minute's from Nacogdoches.

I can speak to this pen. It is a great place to get a pup started on the game you're after or shake the rust off of an older dog. I plan on bringing Rip, Pearl and the others down when it cools off Britt. Glad to hear you're opening it up.

Thanks Kelly, I'll never forget your pups finding and catching their 1st hog that day. It got western in a hurry lol, I don't have any bouncer hogs in there right now.

It will be nice when the colder weather gets here, looking forward to yall coming down. I'm anxious to see Ole Pearl do her thing and see Rip stretch his legs.

I have had pens for years first a 50 acre pen now 300 acre pen ...they work well to start dogs  if you don't over due it ......but my advise is if a pig gets alittle ruffed up get it out or pen it for a while cause  if not you will get on it everytime  you go in there ........ hey sometimes it easier to hunt on the outside of a pen ....people used to tell me if my dog don't find a hog in that 50 acres i'll kill him I say don't bring a gun with you hahahahaha ........  but  to tune dogs up and get one on pigs a pen is good ...... good luck with the pen .....had lots of good times in mine .....

Hi Mr. Parker, thanks for chiming in, I agree 100% with everything you said, I built this thing in 2004, there has been many a pup trained in it over the years. I've always just trained my own and let my circle of friends use it and run a few hunts from time to time. I dont know that Ive made back the money I spent to build it, but then again its hard to put monetary value on good clean fun that keeps you out of alot of trouble lol. Ive had several people that were glad they didnt have a gun the 1st time they came, I know exactly what your talking about, it has taught me that we expect alot out of our dogs.

We worked dogs yesterday morning and I left my deer rifle at home by accident. Sure enough, on our way out, there was a good buck running a doe, he was tracking like an old hound and didnt see us until he was in shooting range, I was sick. Dont leave your rifle home during the rut, would have been a hell of a way to cap off a good day of working dogs.
