Got a nice fat pig with mike last week so made some hawaiian style smoke meat with my dad recipe let it soak for 4 days and put it in the smoker for a pupu (side dish) during thanksgiving dinner http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58372c701f0eb/20161123_193924.jpg?

good idea to  try  and heat that galvanized tin up and let it burn off some before you use  it with meat ..... I  need a new smoke house myself .....

I burnt off most on the inside its not a real hot smoker I try to keep the fire real low

Awe man! Ive been wanting to learn that island style hog smoking, that stuffs a delicacy!!! Please share your recipe. Ive never used a smoker, do you have to wet the wood to get it to smoke? What kind of wood did you use? How long do you smoke it for? Do you try and keep it at a certain temp? Please educate us

Bet it was good I remember going to a place by shore birds that had good meat that they made on sticks. There was one on the north shore to if I rember right it was next door to the shaved ice store. Went to the luau few times it was high dollar back then
