so i get waken up yesterday morning and had to let out my blue tick and catdo to go potty. didn't notice it when i opened the door and let them out, but evidently there was a either a young boar or fairly good sized sow across the street. the dogs did their business and the bolted across the street and decided to start working the hog. i thought it might have been one of mine out of my pen, so i called them off, got them back in the house, got dressed. by then, the hog was a hundred yrs or so down the road and i had the wife hold the dogs inside till i could find out if it was 1 of my hogs. when it bolted and headed for the woods, i told the wife to turn them out and i called my tick to me and before he got to me, he picked the hog's scent from where it originally was and started working towards me as i called. spook, my catdo, had already joined me and started working the scent and huckleberry come blowing past me, hit the tall grass and within 100yds, had the hog bayed and they headed deeper towards the woods. i decided to get the wheeler, so by the time i got it gassed up, keys in it and  started to head their way, here comes huckleberry and spook hot on the hog's heels, working the hog towards my hog pen. they crossed the road and ran towards my hog pen, where i have an old dog kennel set up with 2 segregated boars in it for a trial test growth. the hog got in between the pen and the kennel, but didn't know it could go under the fence and get in with the rest of my hogs. i had the wife pull the dogs back and ran the hog out and had her turn huckleberry loose after the hog went out of sight behind the pond and he trailed the hog and when he was bayed, spook was turned loose to give him a hand and catch it. well, they bayed in some thick switch cane and had to used my wheeler to break through the cane. i let them work it for another 20min and then called them off and took them back inside the house to dry off. i was greatly impressed by huckleberry with how well he trailed and worked the hog, with him only being 12 months old and mostly a house dog, but let him work my hogs when they get out of the pen and showed him how to work the hogs back into the pen.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!
