Well I have had a rough year I got just about every old dog I had killed about 6 months ago and I have had to restart and I wanted to change to some loss baying dogs So I got one old dog left and 4 one year old pups that I been tearing the woods down with and was finally able to stop one dumped the dogs out the truck they left there and went 400 and heard hogs and dogs going every we're and finally one of them sat down and bayed in a mud hole and every thing went to her and every thing stayed loose and sent the bull dogs all in all the hunt was about 45 min

Starting over is sometimes tougher than starting from scratch. Hope they continue to improve for you.

I'm not saying this to offend anyone. But rough dogs is the biggest reason hogs run so bad now days. I realize the Russian they added in them put more run in them to. But the biggest thing is real rough dogs.

All depends to me. One that grab a running hog and back up bay I like. One that's just sitting there fighting a stopped hog for no reason has got to go! Or trying to catch it and getting cut down. That's
Just continually putting pressure on. That causes races.

Art that was a joke. But a dog that fights a hog is no goof ether catch it straight up or bay unless it moves. A good dog is good no matter the style. I know p Willson likes looser dogs

All mine are rough and wouldn't have it any other way in Florida swamps. I like to catch hogs and not run hogs. They got to put teeth in them to stop em sometimes. Glad your rebuilding your pack, hopefully they turn on better for you.

Sounds like we're about in the same place P. I lost every damn good old dog I had in 3-4 months. Got one good one and 4 pups coming on. Hopefully they'll produce like yours are. Good hogs bro! Holler at me if you want to hunt sometime
