Yes we normally don't hunt until January especially day light!! But we had 2400 acres to run them on so we took a chance and lucked out!

I hear  ya hahaha well they sure don't  or shouldn't run near as bad  in deer season than when deer season goes out they better run hahahaha ....I'm in Louisiana about 50 miles from the texas line but I have  hunted in easttexas for years and when hog season opens  its  wild the first week  or so .......

I hunt in East Texas too and I've been on the countdown till deer season ends so I can run my dogs. Them hogs will still be hittin them feeders like crazy and it's good cool weather. Right now I'm work in in South West LA... on stand by for the last day though
