Dozer 8 months old.
Clyde 7 months old and Holly's brother.
Holly probably the most promising young dog I've ever seen. Her nose is excellent tons of drive endless bottom and stock sense knows how to handle a hog.Im proud to own her and have high hopes for her brother as well.Holly's 17 months old.I don't work cows but these dogs are from some old line's of working dogs and every one of their ancestors I have been around and know of are good dog's.

They look like the right kind. Does that line produce "catch" dogs. One out type dogs that will either straight catch or can be talked into catching almost any hog they find.

They're like any other line of dog's some are rougher than other's some are straight catch.Dozers Dad was a big straight catch Black and Tan he was trampled by cows while caught on a big boar both he and the hog were killed.Holly's proving to be pretty rank and getting rougher everyday but she's smart and knows when to back up.She has no quit and consistently sticks out hogs for miles and knows she has to bay until I get there but when she sees my light or me she's hung.Dozer is off a different line than Holly and Clyde.
Tmatt I wish it was that easy buddy but I had to fight tooth and nail to get mine. There are many look alike Florida dog's but to get a hold of a really tight bred line of working dogs can be difficult to say the least.

10-4 That Holly and Dozer dog make the cut and live long enough to breed, keep me in mind if you have a pup that ain't spoken for. I can put you in some fine Cambell bred dogs if you run out Grin

I.h. I know how that goes... I was just hoping you'd be able to point me in the right direction. Lol If you decide to breed those that you have keep me in mind cause I'd really like to have some of them.

Jim Fraser still has cow dogs -I've owned 3 dogs from him and know a few other people that use to swear by his dogs.
had a gyp that got killed a few years back that was all I ever wanted in a hog dog, that was from him.
Have a male that's strait catch still, that's from him - turned out good
But I also have a gyp I got a couple years ago that will find a hog, good bottom, good nose, has run hogs over 2 miles - catch one when I bring her with me checking traps, but won't bark by her self, circles the hog until another dog gets there then she'll help bay or help catch depending on what dog gets to her.

Dog drives me crazy - great handle - but that no bay stuff and won't catch it either, makes me want to give her a lead aspirin
