David Rigney , my brother in law and best friend, underwent open heart surgery yesterday. During the night, he took a turn to the worst and is in grave condition. If you could offer up some prayers, I would appreciate it. It may be his only hope.

We lost a good man today. He was my friend for 55 years and I loved him like a brother. I will miss him dearly.

I'm sure sorry to hear that. I never met Skoal personally, but had a lot of respect for the man and sure enjoyed reading his posts over the years.

X2 Some of my favorite threads on this board were ones that both you and he posted on and I truly enjoyed reading them.

Once again sorry for your loss and may God bless your whole family.

John, taking kids hunting was David's favorite thing to do. We got a kick out of Adam and he made the hunt special. You would be surprised at the number of young men and women that hunted with us that still call him Uncle David.
