I am wanting to build a 4 bedroom 2 bath pole barn home. anyone have any knowledge on them? I am wanting cedar walls in living room and master bedroom. I would like sixteen foot tall where I can have 2 stories and 30 x 60

You'll have to be a little taller than 16' because you have to factor in your ceiling
Joist, they will have to be either 2x10 or 2x8 plus 1/2 inch drywall on ceiling and 1/2 inch plywood for your floor up stairs, that's if you go with standard 8' ceilings.
