I may be relocating for work and wanted to know if you can run dogs anywhere in Florida on public ground. I'll be my bing near crystal river area. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you looked into the florida game law, fl wma and other public hunting land? That would be the first place to start looking to the legalities of who, what, when and where. Do your own diligent research into the laws governing hunting so YOU know what is and is not legal. You could also contact the fish and game office and get the info from the horse himself.

I'm from north west Florida about an hour west of Tallahassee the state issues quota hunts for all most all public land you have to go online and apply for them most public land that we are allowed to hunt is shut down during the summer for any kind of hunting and the quotas we get only last a week or just the weekend

Thank you for the info. Figured I'd be moving to a state that has no public land to run dogs. Texas is pretty much the same way.

I'm on the east coast straight across from Crystal River bout 1 to 2 hrs away get ahold of me when you get to town and we will make a hunt.Some of the quota hunts are definitely worth doing.
