I do not recommend buyin any dogs from skunkhounds on here traded him a 2000 dollar ar and a alpha for a pair of dogs drove to Teague  tx to get them. Carried em huntin last night cause I had a bad feeling in my gut. Low and behold they wouldn't leave the ranger. He offered two week trial I hunted the dogs once and they ain't for me. So and text him needless to say he ain't wanting to honor the trial. First he said he was at work and then next he said he lives in corpus and was only visiting in Teague. Just watch who you buy things from

Uhhh Ohhh, i can see where this thread is going, or should i say, not going. Im gonna go make some popcorn and wait to see how this pans out.

Rule number one in the dog world only buy dogs from people that you know some one that has dealing with or most of the time this happens if you look on the dog post he sales dogs every week that's a big big red flag. If a man won't honor what he says then he is no count and just move on cuz won't ever get your money back unless your willing to get in trouble

Hard to feel sorry for someone that will throw $2,500 at dogs they've never seen these days. It's not something new, the dog world, such as the horse world, is full of cull men who have no problem taking your hard earned money to their bank while you take some dog or horse that needs a bullet off their hands. Bad deal there, maybe he'll have a change of heart

Regardless of what 1 says ,the man made a deal for a trial run ,the kid didn't like the dogs ....the money comes back .... no questions asked. And the guy is on here selling dogs every week ,is he peddler or dog breader??

I can understand the seller's frustration as he did not even give the dogs 24 hours lol, but I still agree with Rough Curs if the deal was made with a trial included then whether its 2 days or 5 minutes does not matter and dogs and money should be returned period.

well since you posted that there was weapon involved, if you would have left us all out the type of payment, knocked the dogs in the head, and reported the weapon as stolen, then it is a he said he said and with no proof of the dogs at all. sometimes you gotta just leave others out of your business and handle your own business as it comes.
BUT!!!!!, there have been many threads about this specific situation and as the judge peel said, know who you are buying from, especially for that kind of money. in addition, if a dog of value leaves my yard, even with cash in had, i write out a contract in front of the person, with both our agreements in the contract, a copy of ea others drivers license, and ea person gets a copy. but then again, i honor my deals and have only had 1 person from Missouri screw me, but there wasn't money involved, so i let it go, but know not to deal with him again. some folks have honor and integrity and some should be knocked in the head, its a vicious cycle and at times, we all have had dealing with it on 1 end or the other.
