The topic was supposed to say Wierd hog. Stupid auto correct on my stupid Android ph. is still smarter then me. haha. I have only caught one other sow like that, that we thought was a boar but she only had about 1 1/2 tusks.

That huzzy was a trooper, me and Chad had noticed a set of big tracks always walking the roads and always by itself, NEVER with any other tracks, the club they caught her in is a heavily dogged club, there's several hog hunters in it and a pile of walker dog guys who run it just about year round other than turkey season, there's hardly a day goes by that there isn't a dog running game in it, she was definitely smart to have lived as long as she did in our area, and that's a testament to the caliber of dogs Cajun shovels sh!t behind...

10/4 on what you said about Mike there goose...at first glance I thought that sow was a bar hog... In all the years of hog dogging I only have 2 sow stories that really stand out in my mind...one is very similar to this one...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
