On the quest to be a dog man.

Turns out you can’t even trust your own family these days. Long story short one of my uncle’s has been keeping a dog for me since October because I’m in Afghanistan and don’t have kennel room for her at my new house yet. Well his pit wound up breeding her one day because she escaped from the pen he had her in. Not a big deal, she’s half pit and half cur so i figure the pups would turn out to be pretty decent RCD’s which is what we mainly use. So then he finds out he’s getting kicked off his property so he tells me I need to find somewhere for her and the pups to go. By now there’s only two pups alive so my hunting buddy says he’ll keep her for me and I was just gonna give him the pups because the one I had picked out died. Well I send my Uncle about 5 times what it would cost him in gas money to take them over there, and for 3 days my buddy is sitting around at his house instead of hunting because he’s trying to wait on my Uncle who is a no-show and doesn’t even bother to text him to let him know whether or not he’s coming. I finally get my cousin to go over there and pick them up and take them for me, and when he gets there he sends me pics of the momma and two pups and it looks like she hasn’t eaten in a month. I mean just a bag of bones. So not only did my uncle choose to blow the money I was sending him to take care of her, he also had already blew the money I sent him for gas. Sorry for the vent session, but be careful about who you let take care of your dogs when you’re away. Sometimes people you trust and are close with turn out to be the worst ones

That’s a bad deal there... especially being your uncle.

Be careful over there.

Teach ole’ unc  a lesson. File animal cruelty charges on him.

I appreciate it Mike. And Charles I’m gonna let karma handle it. He has been in the same house on the same property for about 12 years now. Paid off but he didn’t pay his property taxes for the last several years so he just lost it and has to be gone in the next few days. I’ve helped him out more than just about anyone, but once I come back he’s cut off. The man still owes me a large amount of money that I’m sure I’ll never see. My cousin that went over there for me is like a brother, and our Uncle has screwed him over before too. So he’s got nobody on his side now.

My buddy also sent me a message today saying the pups look real rough. They ain’t been fed right, ain’t been wormed, and were real dehydrated. Lesson learned though, I won’t make the same mistake twice

Never deal with family. If you sell them a car then if it brakes down while they own it they want u to fix it free if u but a truck for them then fix it up they wanna but it back for what they sold it for after u do all the work. I don’t give trade or sell to any of my family my older brother always said if it’s family he will charge 3x as much cus it will always come with strings attached

Words of wisdom right there Judge and Hyan, and thank ya hyan. Sometimes I enjoy what I do but I’ve been over here long enough. I’m looking forward to enjoying some whiskey here soon
