Hi there l.h.cracker The majority of my hunting is from the truck. I also hunt on foot in some deep gully's and ruggered creeks. The dogs are left loose to hunt out and find sent or sign and move on. They all wind scent from the truck and trail scent to an extent. They range from 1/2 a mile to 2 miles or so. Anymore than that would kill me specially in the country I hunt. They are hard nose dogs that have no bail. They will hold one out if needed and will catch there own out of a mob and run on. They are silent hunters. Cheers Dominic

When you say hard nose dogs, are you talking about where they catch and hold?

No not at all TheRednose, They just hard running catch dogs who will wind scent and trail ground sent. Medium range, any more than that would be an issue to back up these dogs in the terrain we hunt. Cheers Dom

G'day make-em-squeel, The Bullarab is an Australian bred pig dog. A true Bullarab consist of English Bull terrier, Greyhound, German short haired Pointer and Bloodhound. They have been around for 30+ years. They have been hunted successfully in all terrains of Australia. Cheers Dom

You have some really nice dogs, and based on those pics seems like they are really getting the job done for you. You take care.

He did say "one out dog" meaning a dog will track, chase down and hold, its own pig. Or picking the mob will mean each will pick its own pig if more than one and usually they will go for the biggest ones.

You boys hunt a lot like we do back home. If a dog won't wind, find, stop, and attempt to hold it's own hog, it ain't worth a piss Good stuff.

G'day fellas, Just an up date. Some boars my son has been catching with his BullArab gyp's Billy found and caught this peanut raiding boar one out. Peanut boar Girl & Billy with Imbil mountain boar. Billy with a Tallara boar. Also only previously we joined Bully Girl (Brian Neal gyp) to a Norm Evans dog , we feel they have complemented each other, well so far any way. B/Girl (Brian Neal Bullarab Gyp) Well bred Norm Evans Bullarab dog. Pups from this Joining. Bitch 1 Bitch 2 Bitch 3 Dog 1 Dog 2 Dog 3 Dog 4 Pups all showing pretty good confirmation. Between myself and my son we'll be keeping 4 -5 of the pups and will try to keep the others real close. look forward to putting these little fellas to the test. Cheers Dom
