Got a slow start to the year but in the past 2 hunts have tied 2 Barr’s and a good sow all around 200 pounds
First barr was a week or so ago me and my buddy lane were easing down a forest service road trying to get to where we wanted to turn loose rounded a corner and lane said look at that hog I looked up and seen him walk across the road into a pine/youpon thicket so we pulled up took about 15 minutes collaring dogs and getting bulldogs vested up turned loose on him they went in about 300 yards and opened up just a few barks and it was off to the races 4 miles later his 2 yella dogs and my cur/hound put the breaks on him we drove around to about 8-900 and started walking I turned loose my two year old pups I had and they went in and went to baying with the big dogs we got 60 yards from them sent Leo and kilo in and they rang his head for him

A couple days ago I called my buddy Justin I haven’t hunted with in around a year and he said he was down to go so then I called a landowner and he gave me the green light so then I was pumped because I only got to go in this place a handful of times in the last year due to work moving and some other things. Anyways we get out to the place around 7:30 or so unload everything and start walking down the main road in since it was too muddy to drive dogs pulled out to about .65 and sat down solid we walked a road almost all the way to them got in and sent bulldogs kilo got his head rocked on the first go around and took a pretty bad cut in his shoulder hog broke down the creek a few feet and spun around kilo hit him on the jaw and cuz grabbed the ear got him flipped and tied noticed all 3 of my dogs gone pulled out the garmin and they were 250 behind us singing to them we eased back to the road walked in on another road 40 yards from them and turned bulldogs loose again the rang that ol sows Head got her flipped and tied called it a day and walked the 1.2 back to the truck

Chunky is not polite Mike. Big bonded, she's big bonded, lol. Good hogs and nice dogs. That saddle back dog is a purdy rascal.
