Made a couple night hunts this week.Had some hogs on camera coming in across the street took my daughter's boyfriend and his Buddy for a quick hunt right at dark.Brought Cypress,Hambone and Dozer caught 3 real quick and called it cause it was a school night.

Last night took the airboat out Hambone,Cypress and Dozer again. My Buddy brought his dog Lady.We caught 6 and Ol Hambone showed out and winded all the hogs from the boat the furthes was 850yds before he jumped it.They bayed the biggest hog 40ft back in a culvert and things got pretty interesting when I sent Dozer and had to crawl in.

Haha sorry Warrent didn't see your question. He bays but catches hard once something initiates I'm sure I could talk him into catching out but I use a bulldog. He's always on the other ear though. The mommas line was from down south and his daddy is from a family up here in central FL.

10-4 Looks to be a good shot of redbone, as well as rednose, in that blood. Looks a lot like some of Jimmy Fox's work Grin Bet he's hunts pretty wide. Sure is nice being able to "ride" a good wind dog on the deck Wink Catch 'um up

I'm sure way back there's something like that. His Daddy's line is owned by the Lefice's up here they're a pretty big Ranch family up here and the biggest land owners and lease holders I know. They cow and hog hunt the river marshes and swamps still daily. His Daddy is one of the best on both.I owned his Momma (Holly)Both his parents were great nosed deep dog's with heaps of sense.Bay till you get there catch when time types. My next breeding I have planned I'm gonna add a little more stop to them by adding Cracker in the program hopefully if his old butt can still produce lol.I put My Rye dog up who's Holly's sister and Hambone's aunt till I can get her bred hopefully in April to Cracker. She's a fine trail dog but pretty dang rank.

See a lot of dogs built like that down on The Kissimmee and further South into Martin and Palm Beach Counties. Old buddy of mine Jimmy Fox is down that way and has been breeding on that redbone x rednose cross for generations. They make number one hog dogs, but lack in cattle sense based on just that cross, in my opinion. Other family's got more cattle sense by using a white bulldog on that first 2 dog cross and then adding a good leopard dog to the mix in the next cross. He's a good looking sucker, no doubt. It's hard keeping them alive when they hunt deep and are "rank", especially in the marsh. That's where that cow sense helps out. Hang that head to get one stopped and then have the finesse to come off and keep one's undivided attention until you get there, hopefully before the "'ditch lizards" do Grin   Have some dayworker friends in Brevard county that just bred two good gyp prospects. I'm on the short list for a pup. If I get the call, wouldn't mine maybe tagging along with you on a hunt in the marsh while I'm down there. I and one good friend could show up anywhere you want with a huntable boat and two solid dogs.

Yup quick ones are nice.. and may I ask what exactly is the bread up of a cracker cut? I have heard different things, just wondering they look a lot like  my dogs.
