Mike, A friend of mine has the 1000, which is too wide for me. I have considered the 700, but I'm hearing that it lacks power with the gearing? What is your thoughts about that?

Cracker, what is that on the front? Did you build your rear box or did you buy it made to fit a 500?

The 500 will go anywhere a 4wheeler does straight through the woods it has plenty of power, with 6 dogs and 2 grown men I will drive over palmettos through mudd holes whatever it's a beast has a 5 speed tranny and low gear is really low 5mph is about max.The thing on the front is a hog lift that's opperated by my whinch and the box was built custome for it.

Mine is always loaded down with 6-8 dogs and two people and I’ve never noticed any power issues. I’m in the deep mud and water all of the time.

Cracker, If and only if, you have to time to snap a few more pictures of your hog lift, i would like to get a better idea of how it functions. I really like the idea of it.

Cracker, I pulled the trigger on a Pioneer 500 and I'm looking for tires now. What size tires are you running and what are the offset of the rims?

I am leaning hard towards buying a 500 in the next couple months myself, I am planning on running 28" tires

I'm running itp mud lites 14×28×12.5 rear and 14×28×10 front. I really like the wider rear tire with the added weight.I ran some 29×9 vampire edl's all the way around and it didn't pull as well dug down to fast.Teaspoon I will try to post a video of the lift working I really like it and have lifted some hosses with it.

Cracker, thanks for that info. I was thinking of getting 27s or 28s...Do you have any problems with the 28" x 10s rubbing when you turn? if not, Did you modify the frame of use spacers?

No spacers and no rubbing I just bought the 14" wheels for the width tire my back wheels are wider than my front but I have zero rubbing.I can't seem to upload a video of the lift but I bought it through Honda its called a big game lift I wanna say I got it for $250 It doubles really well as a brush guard I push down small trees regularly with it.

Thanks Cracker, I looked up that lift and found another one called the "OX Rack" that actually gives you a front rack, but the cost is alot more. I may get with a local fab shop and show him both and see what he can come up with.
