Little shoat yesterday and good boar hog today

Dogs pulled a good run yesterday in the rain and managed to put the breaks on a shoat about 1000 yards from us and had him dead by the time we got there got my young pups in on a good race too they are really showing some promise

This morning we loaded up and managed to tie a good boar hog in the flooded timber and got another bay going but couldn’t get permission to get on the land they were on got 500 yards from them and listened to a good bay for a while they ended up staying bayed 6-7 hours and finally eased out all in all a good day except not being able to catch the other hog

Hate to hear about not being able to catch that one hog. But on other hand looks like them dogs got it done and were putting some miles on there feet! Good hog and nice looking dogs.

Yes sir sick feeling for sure having dogs bayed that long and not being able to do anything but they did all we could ask for this weekend that’s for sure
