Folks, here are a couple of pig stickers made by WOW. He does a great job and I've seen more than one hogs blood shed on his blades. They get it done right. If you aren't careful you'll accidentally cut them.in half! The lighter colored handle is made of osage orange and the other is purple heart and the blades were horse shoer's rasps. He hand makes the sheaths too. What do y'all think about them? I think my old buddy has skills. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

I don't sell them, I use them as fundraisers and give a few away to hunting buddies. They are usually raffled at ADBA events to support the clubs and the ADBA's scholarship fund.

I like that too cajun. I like the finger guards Joel puts on his. I'm a big believer in them. I watched a friend of mine lay his hand wide open in the Brazos river once. We had a big boar caught and he and I were out in the water and couldn't do anything with it because the river was up. I told him to stick it and when he couldn't just push it in he reared back and stabbed. Well his wet hand slipped and went right down the blade. No Bueno!

I've seen that very thing happen and the boys life was altered forever, the tendons in his hand were cut and his hand will never work the same, I've always carried a sticking knife with a finger guard for that reason, I'm a collector of one of a kind knives like like that, I'll make a donation to a scholarship fund for one in a heart beat if the opportunity ever presented itself, that's some quality craftsmanship...
