For those interested in attending, there is a new hotel that opened in Winnfield about three months ago that has rooms available. I believe they are running a special now on double (2 Queen Beds) rooms for $69.95 / night. Looks like a nice place. They advertise it as being the "Fourth Full Weekend of March" so I'm assuming it will be March 24th - 28th.

my son was 2 and half last year hag time off his life buying every pupy he wanted bringin em all home sucked though

TT's right. If your wife and kids are suckers for pups, leave them at home!
All kidding aside, in my opinion it's a really good time if your into looking at dogs and BS'ing....two things I enjoy. I'm not a bay-pen person, but still have a great time. Lots of people, dogs, supplies and whatever else you can think of that has anything to do with our sport.

Me and my G/F have been and competed for the past two years! She has competed in it her whole life! Like said above, The Super Bowl Of hog dog competitions! The best dogs from all over the U.S. will be there! Plenty of Puppies, and tack for sale also! You will continue to go back once you have been! I wish it was tomorrow. Once we leave, i start looking forward to next year. I Can't wait! Just hope it doesn't rain again like it did this past year!

we might just have to make the drive down from up here in AR. my 5 year old daughter is pretty bad about wanting anything that moves and has 4 legs. her mom used to be the same way when a kid. might try and talk the wife into another puppy when down there.
