Made a solo hunt Monday morning, made it about 150 yards from the truck and found a good track in the road. Dropped Bobo and Cowboy out, cowboy rolled out to about 400 yards, Bobo made a round to 200 yards and barked twice, started working his way back to me and started bat barking at about 100 yards out and cane bayed 50 yards from the bike. I walked in about 20 yards and turned my two catch dogs loose, Buddy and Spanky. I heard them hit and a 10’ tall 20 yards wide briar patch started dancing. Finally got to them on my hands and knees and got the hog killed. Bobo was jugged in the jaw and Buddy was cut in the rear end bad and was loosing a lot of blood, I needed up loosing him at the vet, best little catch dog I’ve owned in my 15 years of hunting, I got everything caught up and rushed to the vet but he had lost to much blood.

Dang man I hate to hear that. Glad you got the hog. He won't cut anymore dogs. Glad your bulldog went out doing what he loved.

That’s a hell of a hog brother. I really hate to hear about your catch dog. Seems like the hard times are going around with everyone this week.
