Well, I didnt get to spend all deer season getting the youngsters ready for the big woods since the ranch sold along with my woods pen, so it's back to the old ways. Just got to feed them as many tracks as I can. My Blue pup spent all of Monday afternoon in hogs and did pretty good, he is gonna have to step it up though, he has some big shoes to fill and he will be 2 yrs old this month. We caught 5 on the day, 2 big sows and a feisty boar about 150 with some shanks and he knew how to use them. Always fun seeing these kids enjoying the dogs and the hunt, never a dull moment with Kadee Jo, Layken, and Easton. Good times with family and friends that are like family, it's sure hard to beat. Also on the hunt, Kade and Kerri Thompson, Tyler and Brandi Gresham, and Brandon Gresham and his son.

Good deal Britt. Sounds like you had plenty of help lol. Those are the great memories adults and kids will remember. Those ole hogs were healthy too.

Those are some good looking hogs and dog handlers. Those kids will remember these hunts all their lives. Back when I was younger we hunted so much that I never even thought of a pen or needed one. Now that I have had one for years, I dont know how I did without it. lol It sure is nice to already have them knowing what is going on when you do take young dogs to the woods.

Thanks everyone!!!

Cajun, I know for sure what you mean, it will sure hit the fast forward button on those pups. Don't take long notice laziness and other undesirables in pups either.
