1 finished dog, 6-7 years old pit X walker
2 started dogs, 1 is a 4 year old Ladner that I never took hunting often he was trashing on deer and was opening so he was messing up hunts. Taken him a few times recently and he actually looked good. I never got rid of him just because he was sentimental to my wife. The other is gonna be 2 in March, 3/4 bmc X 1/4 bird dog. Was doing really well at 9/10 months old and I accidentally ran him over and messed his hips up. He’s sat up on R&R until this year, I just started hunting him again back in December and he’s doing really well, just need to get him on more hogs.

1 retired dog, she’s only 3.5-4 years old but is the littermate to my old lead dog Dum Dum. Since he died last year I have kept her put up and will probably never hunt her again. She’s 100% silent and 100% straight catch. There were 3 litters of those dogs and out of all 3 litters there’s only 1 other female I know of that’s still alive and the guy that owns her is a shady dude that I ain’t a fan of. All the rest have been killed, so I have her reserved for breeding now.
3 pups, 5 months old. They’re out of the started bmc x bird dog and the walker x pit.
I have high hopes for them and plan to start in March.

Number would’ve been a lot higher last month had a good yard cleaning few weeks ago....8 cur dogs 2 dogos
1-9 yr old soon to be retired dog crank
1-7.5/8 yr old male bill
1-4 yr old gyp that I’ve decided to retire for now for breeding purposes because I’m so low on stock
1-3/4 yr old mother son cross gyp I just got and haven’t messed with yet
1- 3 yr old dogo cd Odin
1- 6 month old dogo gyp unstated
4- cur pups about 4 months old out of some old line bred cow dogs un started

Just curious and mosey, what are you wanting from the hound? Do you have a line bred family of dogs you’re wanting to breed it into? No right or wrong answer I just like picking peoples brains.

I have 5 catch dogs one might get sent down the road. ranger slick playboy and possum they are my bay dogs I hunt regular I have two English pointers. A coon hound and a bluetick I haven’t fooled with other than start. 3 pups out of breeding ranger to a pointer a pup out of my two dogos. A Chihuahua and my wife’s crazy ass deaf heeler. Looking for add some running walker and would like to find a small stud catch dog to go over my female.

This is a real good topic. I actually thought about it the other day.
Here is my list of mutts that I am hunting.
Blackie my main female almost 6 years old
Magnum he is 2 years old this month
Duke he is 2 years old this month
Marty he is almost 1.5 years old
Ruth Littermate gyp to Marty.
Smurf almost 10 months old
Skipper almost 10 months old
Ld is almost 10 months old
Yella bird about 9 years old. Retired
Gator he’s about 6 but is on the side line due to a hurt leg but still can be hunted if need be.
5 pups less than 3 months old out of gator and blackie
2 pups off Yella bird and another male
1 pup almost 5 months old that’s a full neice to magnum.
Django my catch dog
Son off Django that’s 9weeks old.
So 20 total..
