I like the design of the handle on the big knife. It looks like it could be comfortable.

Cracker, there is some real craftsmanship going on in both the knife and the sheath in that old knife from your fil. Mike it's nice to see you working with the youngsters. Getting some work in on that OBM grinder. I am planning on building my next 2x72 since I want a tilting one. I have a nice Northridge Tool Grinder now but it doesn't tilt. Brian Housewert sells the components to put together a good one.

WOW, I just bought out a knifemaker. He got into this about 6 months ago and all equipment is 6 months or newer. He really gave me a heck of a deal. The only thing he didnt have was a anvil and I had one of those. He started a Hot Shot business and just did not have time for it anymore.Funny thing is I had just ordered a Ameribrade grinder and they had a 30 day backorder. After 3 weeks I found out about this deal and was able to cancel my order. I have not even started on the tilt option. The boys are all about making some sticking knives now before Jan. rolls around. lol

Ameribrade is well thought of, some folks say OBM design was stolen from them. There are really no patents. I bought the small wheel kit from OBM, sure handy for doing the tight corners and finger grooves. Good luck to those boys.

I had made a sheath for a knife a while back and made it to small so I forged a skinner to fit the sheath A** backwards but it worked. Just have to touch up the sheath with some dye. Other pic is some other knives I am working on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
