Caught another sow this morning in a new place, 110/120 lbs, was actually disappointing, had gotten struck on a working track in one section and they trailed N into the next section and got jumped, the dogs busted a group of hogs that went 3 different ways and we saw the hogs cross a road just E of us going back S in front of the different dogs on the 3 different tracks and only wound up getting one caught. Sooner brought the first group across "the group we caught one from" about 3 minutes behind them and crossing in the same spot came another small bunch with Adam's 2 dogs, and just a few minutes after that about 4 hundred yards behind us came the ones Wash was after. When the cluster was over we caught Sooners hog, I caught Wash off a highway 1.5 miles from where we saw them all cross, and Adam's dogs just ran out or mashed a shoat and came back don't know which.

Glad y’all put something at the end of it man. I always tell my son that it don’t matter how many times they finish a race. It just matters if it gets done. U can almost see it in the old dogs eyes if they get beat at the end of the day. It don’t happen much but they remember it. Lol.

Glad you got something out of the deal. Like they say, that’s why it’s hog hunting and not hog catching, lol. I bet those dogs did some learning though. Is it very windy up there right now?

Haha, being an Okie, had to have a Sooner, and Wash got his name because I hunt a lot in the Ouachita Nat'l Forest but Ouachita is a mouth full when calling a dog so it shortened up to Wash. Then there's Grip the catchdog.
