My buddy and I made a round in the management area.   Ended up jumping this boar and running him for about 15 minutes and he bayed.  We got close he broke and ran and bayed a few hundred yards away.   Sent the catch dogs and once my buddy legged him he realized he didn’t have ears.  One ear was completely gone and the other was just about gone. We lost a good bulldog and the two bay dogs got cut up pretty good..  I am positive he wrecked some dogs in his day.  We were back at the launch for 8:30 am.

Man I hate you lost a good one and I hope your bay dogs get healed completely and quickly. He looks like he could’ve been a handful with ears.

Sorry to hear about your bulldog, I hope the other dogs pull through. It sounds like he was a seasoned hog

Sounds like poaching problems,a few spots I know of have big toothed boars with no ears. Some guys do it to get poachers dogs killed. Sucks it happened to you. Good hog
